


Thanks for your time.Hey, I found your post while trying to route sound from my Apollo 8p with Pro Tools 12 to OBS and it looks like you have found the perfect solution. I highly recommend OBS and Virtual Audio Cable for high quality professional streaming. With everything I only use about 50% total. I went from 90%+ resources used with other user friendly software like XSplit and Elgato.

I wanted to make this thread to help those who may be on the same boat as me seeking a professional streaming solution with software. I hope some of you find this information helpful. I discovered Virtual Audio Cable allows me to use my Apollo Twin USB with my stream and YouTube videos. If you are like me and want to use your high end interface with broadcasting but not be limited to crap software that takes most of your computer's resources you'll resort to OBS. This has raised the bar with quality for my stream however it doesn't support ASIO. Recently I started using a software called OBS Studio.
